Caponi Park of Eagan
We had a grand kids day. Part of what I do with ToDoTC.com is find interesting places to go. I am going through all the Parks in the metro and yes I will have links to everyone. As I was doing that the Carponi Park of Eagan caught my eye.
The Carponi Park of Eagan is an Art sculpture park. It is no charge to get in and other then us there was only one guy on premises for this free park. The entire park would probably fit into a city block. And there are about a dozen art pieces in it.
All the art is rock & steel and can be touched which is nice for younger kids. We pushed a stroller through the trails. The art pieces date from the 1950s to 2020s eras.
One item of interest is an art demonstration lab on premises that is periodically open to the public.
We did Hiawatha Falls and Carponi Park in a few hours total. It’s worth the trip for a fun free park.
